Stephen Picardi
WebmasterStephen Picardi is the webmaster for the Marine Safety Group.
He is the president of Spearhead Multimedia, an internet hosting and design company and the co-founder of the South Florida Spearfishing Club (http://spearfishing.org), an elite group of divers who participate in various environmental projects in South Florida.
In 1998, Stephen, along with David Earp and Robert Dimond began the movement to ban the organized feeding of marine life off of the beaches of South Florida. This quest has bound the three and has given them the drive to continue to fight for the safety of our coastal marine life and the affected user groups.
He created the web site http://sharkfeeding.net which has won much acclaim for it's content and design from numerous media and environmental organizations.
Stephen is an avid diver, although back injuries have kept him out of the water, he continues to participate in dive related activities. He has been elected president of the South Florida Spearfishing Club for each of the past four years. His organization has participated in numerous activities to benefit our coastal marine life and to heighten public awareness. Each member is an advocate of safe diving and environmental responsibility. The web site http://spearfishing.org is one the most visited spearfishing sites in the world.
