| Deerfield Beach takes action while Pompano Beach remains in denial. (6-Feb 01) The Deerfield Beach City Commission took a big step Tuesday toward protecting those who swim, snorkel and dive off its beaches by unanimously approving an ordinance that will ban the feeding of marine wildlife by dive operators licensed to do business in the city. Other cities are sure to follow suit and ban it from their beaches as well. |
